Philippa Hunter, T.I.Dip.H.A., M.I.F.P.A.

Initially Philippa worked for a Property Developer, but in the late 80’s became fascinated with Aromatherapy, and was one of the first people to be personally trained by Robert Tisserand in the  2 year Diploma of Holistic Aromatherapy. She currently has an Aromatherapy practise in an old converted convent in Gloucestershire.

Over the years an increasingly large part of Philippa’s practise has been specialised work with adults with learning difficulties, particularly autistic spectrum disorder. She visits numerous care homes, and day centres in Gloucestershire for adults with special needs, both physical and mental.

She qualified as an M technique practitioner in 2006, and has since included it in her daily practice. She finds this gentle, non-invasive method of touch, invaluable when treating vulnerable adults, who seem to respond to the structured routine and repetitive strokes of the M technique.

She qualified as an M instructor in October 2007.

Based in Stroud, she does some mobile work in M technique and Aromatherapy, within Gloucestershire. She is prepared to travel to teach the M technique throughout Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, South Wales, and the West Country, and is particularly interested in taking it to carers and professionals involved with adults and children with special needs.

She is currently taking on private patients.
